Gas stove
Gas stove is a stove that creates heat by burning gas fuel such as
LPG, town gas or natural gas. The gas stove was invented before the electric stove, but is still used today. Many professional users of gas stoves, such as chefs, find the gas stove more convenient as it provides a more precise and immediate response when increasing or decreasing the gas flame, i.e. the heat supply.
LPG is a Swedish trade name for a gaseous fuel consisting of light hydrocarbons such as propane and butane.
City gas is a pipeline-distributed gaseous fuel that today consists of a mixture of methane (53-55%) and air (45-47%).
The methane comes either from natural gas or from biogas.
Natural gas, fossil gas, older name natural gas, is a mixture of gases, mainly light hydrocarbons such as methane, found in pockets in the earth's crust. Natural gas is extracted from separate gas deposits, or in connection with oil extraction.
Check that the gas stove has the correct nozzle for the gas connection to be used. Town gas has different nozzles than gas pipes.
